Hi, I’m Zoë

I help growing businesses create unforgettable event experiences for their teams.

There was never any question that I was going to be an event manager.

I knew it before I’d even heard of the job title. While I often work with other amazing freelancers and agencies to make events happen, I take personal responsibility for each and every event. I put myself at the heart of the business to ensure you receive a personal service. So here’s a little bit about me:

For many years, I’ve worked for various businesses including London Business School doing conferences, Moody’s Analytics doing incentive trips, doing awards ceremonies, PwC and ITV; all the while honing my skill and gaining essential experience.

Working as part of a business I learned a lot about how internal events operate, the impact they can have on morale and motivation, and the return on investment that a well executed staff conference, kick-off or incentive trip can deliver. But after fifteen years the one thing I didn’t enjoy was working at the same desk every day.

I dreamed of flexibility and work/life balance. I dreamed of working on different briefs, and working with other growing businesses to develop their events programmes to help their teams grow alongside their business. I love small businesses, and I wanted one for myself.

I also wanted to get a dog.

So in 2017 I took my years of international events experience in business and turned it into Vodka on Toast. Sounds tasty, doesn’t it?

So now, with pooch in tow, I get to work with amazing brands to delight, inspire and engage their talent.

No two days are the same. I work from wherever my laptop and phone are and I get to share my passion for events with my clients every day. I understand growing businesses, because I run one. I have that in common with my clients, and that is something truly special to me.
