Event Management
Are you ready to level-up your employee events programme for 2022 and beyond?
Growing teams, stressed out PAs and post-pandemic challenges: let us help.
Has your business grown so much recently that you have more talented people and more work coming in than you know what to do with? Let an expert take the reins on creating amazing events for your staff without taking your focus away from the important stuff. Welcome new members and get the old guard out of the shadows by injecting new life into your team events.
USE YOUR TALENT WISELY
Are you putting your events in the hands of already busy PAs and people who simply do not have the capacity for planning events on top of their usual workload? For people without the experience or passion for event planning this can be the stuff of nightmares. For me and the great people we work with, it’s a dream come true.
PLUMMETING EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT, ZOOM FATIGUE, AND REMOTE NEW STARTERS
The last few years have changed how we work so much that it can be hard to know how to begin to bring teams back together. It can be hard to know what your people want and need – do they even wear trousers anymore?
Some of us aren’t used to in-person gatherings on a social level, let alone at work, and the wavering line between work and home can either bring people to the edge of burnout, or cause them to build up that boundary between work-time and play-time.This new normal has changed the way our teams interact and how we motivate talent to feel part of something important. For new staff who haven’t had the normal chatter over a casual coffee, this can be even more of a problem.
Work with us to find ways to bridge that gap again and show your talent the importance of enjoying their work-time and the value they bring to your business.
Imagine that your next event creates a huge boost in employee engagement and enjoyment of their job, but without you having to arrange every little detail yourself.
And we like happy employees, don’t we?
- Significantly free up your time to focus on your primary job without adding to the workload of others
- Improve work/life balance and bring back the fun
- Put your event in the hands of an experienced and expert event professional for painless planning and efficient execution
- Benefit from established connections and years of experience without breaking the bank
This is event management with ultimate flexibility
That means you only book and pay for the parts of the service that you need with no nasty surprises. It’s never too early to start planning your event, and it’s never too late in the day to bring in an event manager to pick up the slack.
The service is split into three parts for you to choose from:
Create
When you need a few ideas on team building activities, venues or overseas destinations. You might just need some guidance on where to start, what mistakes to avoid, or a project plan to get you going.
Plan
When you need someone to be on top of every detail of the strategy, planning and logistics. The day-to-day logistics of producing an event is hugely time-consuming: managing multiple guests, stakeholders and vendors and ensuring that both deadlines and standards are met needs an expert hand.
Deliver
When you need a reliable events team on the day, to execute your plan perfectly. It’s all in the detail when it comes to event delivery, and a team with nerves of steel who are focussed and cool under pressure is paramount.
Only book what you need
Whether you’re just looking for a few ideas, or need someone to take the reins on your event from end-to-end, the service is highly bespoke to your needs and your budget.
Working with Vodka on Toast feels professional yet personal; focussed yet fun.

Invest in talent by investing in events
Don’t let another year go by watching employee engagement drop; invest in making your next team event your best one yet. We’re an ideal partner for anyone who’s struggling with finding the capacity for planning events at work, as well as doing their day-job.
Dedicated access to an expert event manager for your project is charged as a project fee, which reflects not just the time spent on the project, but the skill and experience an event manager brings to the table.
We’ll set the fee at the start of the project and pass through all other event costs directly to you, so there are no surprises and you’re in total control of what you’re spending.
Of course there’s always opportunity to expand your brief as the event evolves too, and to discuss growing the project to suit your needs and budget.

Hello, I'm Zoë

Event management Frequently Asked Questions
That’s totally up to you. You tell us the event brief and decide whether you need someone to create, plan or deliver your event (or all three!) and we’ll agree how involved Vodka on Toast will be based on that.
As much as you would like to be. Consider this a team effort. We can work in partnership, or we can take full end-to-end responsibility for the project. We’ll have weekly check-ins on every project regardless, but we can also work collaboratively and share tasks too. What’s best for you?
That’s fantastic. Teamwork is key to making any event a success. A lot of my clients will bring me in to supplement and support their events team, perhaps for a big event or during a particularly busy period when people are overloaded. If you’re an event manager, I’m here to make you look good and make your life easier.
Event Management is highly time consuming, and people in these roles tend to be extremely busy already. Often the event will suffer because the person managing it doesn’t have the capacity to make it as impactful as it could be. That’s not a good return on investment for your business. Event Management is also a very particular skill, which involves more than being organised. It’s much better to have an expert on the team, who can bring in a fresh perspective, and who will know how to understand your event goals and will be dedicated to planning and delivering something that meets and exceeds those goals.
As much as I’d love to, I can’t work for free as I have dog food to buy and other adult responsibilities. The project fee is for the time spent on the project, as well as what I bring to the table in terms of experience, industry contacts, access to the best rates and deals for you, knowledge of what NOT to do and so much more.
The beauty of offering a flexible service is that we can work with small budgets as well as big ones. If you have less than £1000, there’s still lots we can do. Perhaps you’d like some creative ideas for your event for you to execute yourself, or venue finding/supplier sourcing. Maybe you’d just like us to be there on the big event day. We’re always happy to discuss options.
Not at all! With 15 years of experience, I’ve worked on many kinds of events from client-facing conferences to wedding fayres. If you think you’d like to work with us because you like our vibe, we’d love to hear from you.
As a small business owner myself, I have a real passion for working with other micro, small and medium-sized businesses. I enjoy the culture of creativity that you often find there but have also loved working with big corporates too such as Moody’s Analytics and ITV.
