Volunteering with Crisis at Christmas

Crisis at Christmas is a campaign Crisis UK run that helps provide warm meals, shelter, support and companionship at Christmas to those experiencing homelessness.

I’ve volunteered with them various times in previous years, doing anything from hosting games of bingo and running activities for the guests, to handing our Christmas dinner and cleaning the toilets.

In my view, they’re doing absolutely essential work, and the small amount of time I’ve given never quite feels enough.

Find out more at www.crisis.org.uk/crisis-at-christmas if you’d like to find out more about getting involved with their future events and projects.

I’ve been involved in hundreds of events over my fifteen years as an event manager and have learned a lot along the way. It’s nice to have a blog space where I can share some of those experiences and knowledge with my readers, especially those who might be thinking of getting into events or working with me in the future. This blog is a little piece of me. I hope you like it x
